• Export an InnerSpace floor plan and its installed devices into Design Center as a new project or a new version, with a link back to the originating site. Multiple versions let you compare and simulate design variations.
• In InnerSpace, import a Design Center floor plan and its planned device positions. Planned devices appear as ghost placeholders, so installers can bind each real device to its planned spot and track what is left to install.

Storage Planning

Plan storage for your NVR and NAS, and let Design Center work out the drives.

• Set a recording capacity in TB, or size it from your retention needs, and Design Center calculates the drives from your project's cameras, accounting for the HQ and LQ recording split and Super Encoding.
• Set a protection level per device, and Design Center maps it to the right RAID level (RAID 1, 5, 6, or 10, or RAID-Z1, Z2, or Z3) and shows usable, protection, and spare capacity.

Capacity Zones

• Draw a capacity zone from the same toolbar as Coverage Zones, name it, and see its area in sqft or sqm.
• Add one or more entries to a zone, each pairing a device type (WiFi 6, WiFi 6E, WiFi 7) with a client count, to declare the expected client load for that area.
• Automatic AP placement uses the declared load to size the number of access points inside the zone, so busy areas get enough capacity coverage instead of a uniform spread.
• Zones can also be used only for visibility. Name a zone without adding entries to label rooms and areas on the plan.

Automatic Channel Planning

• Automatic Channel Width chooses the width for each 5 GHz and 6 GHz radio, wider where there is little interference and narrower where the air is congested.
• An Allowed Interference slider controls how aggressive the choice is. 2.4 GHz stays at 20 MHz.
• In dense areas, automatic planning can now turn off extra 2.4 GHz radios to reduce interference.

Replace a Floor Plan Image

• When you replace a floor plan image, the new image is overlaid on your existing walls and devices, so you can move and resize it to line up. Your walls and devices stay in place.

Bugfixes

• In Client Experience, turning a radio on or off now updates the client immediately, without moving the client device.

This release introduces switch stacking, automatic wall detection from uploaded floor plans, 3D antenna patterns, multi-link uplinks, and provisioning to Site Manager with Blueprints.

AI Wall Detection

• Upload a floor plan and see it in 3D right away, without drawing walls by hand.
• Walls are detected automatically as soon as a floor plan is uploaded, or you can trigger detection manually from the wall drawing menu.
• The approximate scale is set for you automatically, so coverage is more accurate from the start. Adjust it at any time if needed.

This is an experimental feature for now and is still improving. Use the thumbs up and thumbs down icons on each detection to rate the results. Your ratings will help us improve detections across different floor plans.

3D Antenna Patterns

• Device settings now include an interactive 3D view of the antenna pattern.
• The model rotates on its own and matches how the access point is mounted.

Multi-Link Uplinks

• Plan redundant, higher-bandwidth uplinks without assigning ports one by one. Set how many links you want to a target, and Design Center assigns the ports.
• Links are spread across a stack's units to reduce hops.

Site Provisioning with Blueprints

• Move from design to deployment in one step. Provision a project directly to Site Manager by applying site configuration using Blueprints and Site Groups.

Introducing Comments, a new way for project collaborators to discuss design decisions directly on a floor plan.

• You can place a comment at any location on a floor plan. Pins persist for all collaborators and are visible by default.
• Reply to any comment in a flat, single-level thread. Replies appear in chronological order under the original comment.
• You can edit or delete your own comments.
• Resolve threads to hide them from the active view, with a filter to bring them back. Any collaborator can resolve or reopen a thread.
• A unified comment panel lists all threads across the project. Clicking a pinned comment takes you to it on the right floor plan and opens the thread.
• Comments track their read state so unread comments will be highlighted on the floor plan and in the comment panel.
• Comments support image attachments, either by pasting from the clipboard or selecting a file.
• Comments are only visible to project collaborators - they don't appear in Share pages or PDF exports.

WiFi Zones

Introducing WiFi Zones, a way to limit WiFi planning to specific areas of a floor plan.

• Draw polygon WiFi Zones using the same drawing UX as attenuation objects. Multiple zones can coexist on a single plan, useful for multi-building plans.
• WiFi coverage outside the zones is faded out so you can focus on the areas that matter. Camera coverage is unaffected.
• Auto-detection generates WiFi Zones from the walls you've drawn the first time you enter WiFi Zone mode, which you can accept or discard. Disconnected wall groups produce separate zones.
• Drawing a smaller zone inside a larger one carves out a hole, so you can exclude specific areas from planning.
• Zones are fully editable after creation - reshape, move, or delete them like attenuation objects.

SuperLink Coverage

Introducing SuperLink Gateway coverage visualization, so you can confirm sensors are positioned within reliable range of their gateway.

• Hovering or selecting a USL-Gateway shows a coverage overlay for the gateway's radio range. The overlay is also shown while placing sensors, so you can drop them within range.
• Coverage accounts for wall types and floor slabs, including multi-floor attenuation when the project spans multiple levels.
• Coverage range reflects the antenna configured on the gateway, both standard and high-gain are supported.

Interference & SNR Coverage

Two new coverage modes have been added to help identify channel planning issues.

• Added Interference as a new coverage mode. Shows how many access points on overlapping channels reach each location on the floor plan, with a green-to-amber-to-red scale that makes co-channel conflicts easy to spot.
• Added SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) as a new coverage mode. Highlights areas where the desired signal is weak relative to background interference, helping you identify spots where client connections will be degraded.
• Both modes include a legend with the scale appropriate to each mode, and update in real-time when channel assignments change.

Quality of Life Improvements

• Added a Channels view setting that displays the active channel(s) directly below each AP on the floor plan. Multi-band APs show up to 3 channel labels, ordered by band.
• The coverage legend now adapts to what you're selecting or placing, showing only the relevant scale (WiFi, camera, or SuperLink) rather than all of them. When nothing is selected, the legend matches the active coverage mode.
• Added tooltips to the coverage types in the WiFi coverage legend, explaining what each one represents.
• Moved the Undo and Redo controls from the top toolbar to a new floating column on the left edge of the editor, keeping the action toolbar focused on core modes and tools.

• Fixed an issue where the G6 180 camera rendered 360 degrees of coverage instead of 180 degrees, and where ceiling mount was not available for the device.

Introducing Camera Experience, a new way to validate camera placement by simulating what each camera sees, hears, and detects from any point on the floor plan.

• Drop a person target onto the floor plan to preview live video, audio, and lighting captured by the closest camera.
• Camera Experience automatically roams between cameras as the target moves, switching to the camera with the best view.
• Calculates pixels-per-meter (PPM) and DORI ranges (Detection, Observation, Recognition, Identification) at the target location to verify identification at distance.
• Camera coverage on the floor plan is now divided into the four DORI zones, replacing the previous three smart detection zones. As a result, coverage areas may appear larger than before for the same camera placement.
• Simulates lighting and IR illumination for accurate low-light previews.
• Audio simulation models ambient sound at the target location with positional volume.
• Camera Experience is accessible from a new option in the action toolbar in the plan editor.

Attenuation Objects

Introducing Attenuation Objects, a new way to model real-world obstructions like furniture, racks, or other materials that affect WiFi and camera coverage.

• Draw rectangular or freeform polygonal attenuation objects directly on the floor plan.
• Choose from a set of default object types or create custom types with adjustable height and attenuation.
• WiFi coverage calculation factors in attenuation based on object density and depth; camera coverage treats objects as fully opaque.
• Rendered in 2D and 3D with adjustable opacity for floor plan readability.

Share & Installation Guide

• Added an equipment list to the interactive HTML share, listing all devices grouped and sorted by category along with quantities and estimated cable lengths.
• A one-click copy button copies the equipment list table for use in proposals or quotes.
• The legacy PDF export has been removed from the floor plan view. The PDF export available from the Share page, introduced in the previous release, is now the only PDF export and is more reliable and significantly faster to generate.
• The installation guide linked in provisioning emails now uses the same interactive HTML view as a Share link. Installers get access to floor plans, topology, and the full project details, replacing the previous, more limited view.

Quality of Life Improvements

• Added keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch between modes in the plan editor.
• WiFi coverage now displays the exact signal strength in dBm at the cursor location in the coverage legend.
• Adjusted the default WiFi coverage thresholds to better reflect real-world quality. The transition to good coverage now occurs at -67 dBm (previously -65 dBm). This is a visualization-only change - the underlying coverage size and signal strength are unchanged but existing projects may appear greener by default. The thresholds remain customizable from the coverage legend.
• Client Experience now shows a WiFi standard icon next to both the AP and client device selectors, and includes a toggle to switch between primary coverage and the data rate heatmap.
• Improved camera coverage calculation to account for partial-height wall segments such as doors and windows. Cameras can now see above or below these segments, with coverage extending into areas that were previously blocked.
• Added fallback regulatory rules and warnings for projects in countries without specific WiFi regulations.

Rack View

• Introducing a new Rack View available for all projects.
• The Rack View shares the same visual appearance as the setup wizard.
• The wizard has been removed from the project creation flow and now appears only for first-time users.
• All subsequent projects start empty, allowing you to begin your design in any view you prefer.
• The Connection Optimizer is always active in Rack View, automatically scaling core infrastructure - such as switches - and the rack itself as your project evolves.
• You can still manually add additional switches or other rack-mounted devices.
• Any rack changes that would affect devices explicitly placed on floor plans will prompt confirmation to prevent unintended removals.

Share

• A completely new share/export experience designed to address limitations of the PDF export and eventually replace it.
• Share allows generation of a shareable link with a view-only export of the project and provides a real-time preview of what the export will look like.
• The export is fully customizable - choose which views and floor plans are included.
• Anyone with the link can view the project but cannot make changes.
• To collaborate on a project, you can still invite collaborators directly to your project from the project settings side panel.
• The export is delivered as an interactive HTML that supports free zooming and panning across floor plans (2D and 3D) and topology, even on mobile devices.

Rack Planning With Third-Party Devices

• To increase flexibility when planning racks, we added support for a selection of generic, third-party rack devices in various sizes.
• These devices can be added directly from the Rack View or from the rack settings side panel.
• This functionality is designed solely for rack layout planning - third-party gateways and switches are not supported.

Secondary & Tertiary WiFi Coverage

• Added support for secondary and tertiary coverage visualization to help optimize WiFi for resiliency.
• You can switch between coverage types from the coverage legend in the floor plan view.
• Secondary and tertiary coverage heatmaps display areas where 2, 3 or more APs overlap, helping identify potential dead spots during AP outages.

Building Bridges

• Building Bridges can now be used to wirelessly connect separate buildings.

• Client Experience lets you place and move a WiFi client device around the floor plan to view expected signal strength and speeds, helping you optimize access point placement for performance and roaming.
• It's accessible from a new option in the action toolbar within the floor plan view.
• It supports a wide range of predefined client devices, with the option to create custom ones.
• Access points now automatically use the correct regional variant and comply with local regulations based on the project’s country.

Device Settings

• All key device settings are now consolidated into a dedicated side panel that opens when you select a device in any view.
• Devices can be replaced with different models directly from the side panel.
• Uplink connections are also shown and can be updated from the side panel.
• Access points now support radio configuration, including channel selection and transmit power adjustments.
• Gateways and switches display an overview of all connected devices, with options to manage connections or add and remove devices.

New Wizard

• We redesigned the wizard to simplify and streamline product selection.
• The previous templates have been removed, as they rarely matched users’ exact needs. Instead, you now start with a default set of devices that provides a quick overview of what's possible but you can freely remove them or start from scratch.
• The new wizard is focused on functionality. We removed lesser-used options in favor of a more intuitive flow: it's now easier than ever to add, remove, or adjust products while always maintaining clear visibility of your rack.
• The rack automatically adapts to your setup, adding or removing switches where needed based on port and power requirements.
• Device categories in the rack have also been updated, making it easier to find the right products.
• Core devices that are not part of a rack are now displayed in a dedicated list view. You can toggle between the rack and list view at any time.

Project Duplication

• This highly requested feature is finally here: you can now duplicate an existing project with all its contents - floor plans, walls, devices, connections, everything.
• This makes it easy to create multiple solution variants for the same space without redoing all the foundational work.
• Project duplication is available in the project settings side panel, accessible by clicking Edit on any project in the project list.

This is the biggest Design Center release of the year so far, delivering smart, fully-connected topologies with one click, better port allocation, and end-to-end cabling solutions that do the heavy lifting for you.

Connection Optimizer

• Automatically connects devices to the most appropriate ports based on port type, speed, and PoE requirements.
• Optimizes use of available ports by matching each device to the closest suitable specification, ensuring PoE requirements are met without over-provisioning, so high-PoE or high-speed ports aren't wasted.
• Prompts to add switches if no eligible ports are available, with automatic recommendations for compatible models.
• Devices added in the Topology or Ports views are connected immediately by default.
• In the Floor Plan Editor, enable the Connection Optimizer from the cable drawing menu to automatically connect all unconnected devices. Once enabled, new devices are connected as soon as they're placed, allowing you to focus on the layout while we handle the wiring.

Rack and Multi-Floor Cabling Improvements

• Devices within racks are now connected correctly and the connections within the rack can be edited freely.
• Connections across floors can now be edited freely.
• Devices placed on different floors are connected by default when using the Connection Optimizer, even without cable tunnels.

Known issues

• In some existing projects with racks, the Topology view may show the UniFi gateway as disconnected from the rest of the network. To resolve this, use the Connection Optimizer dialog in the top right corner to reestablish the connection.

• Fixed an issue where aligning floors could incorrectly adjust the scale, resulting in inaccurate coverage calculations and measurements from the measuring tool.
• Fixed an issue where custom wall materials could appear with incorrect colors in PDF exports.
